Advanced Arm Dynamics (AAD), announced that Carol Sorrels has accepted the position of national director of marketing and communications. With more than 25 years of experience as a national and international media publicist, Sorrels has focused exclusively on the field of prosthetics and orthotics.

“Shining a light on new technologies, the work of researchers and prosthetists, and the stories of people who have experienced limb loss has been my passion,” Sorrels said in a press release.

Throughout her career she has directed marketing and communications for the following organizations: Orthocare Innovations, NovaCare, Sabolich Prosthetic Research Center, and Mercy Health Systems. She has developed and implemented marketing strategies that fueled dramatic increases in sales and public awareness. “Carol’s expertise in marketing, and her extensive understanding of the field of prosthetics and orthotics, make her a real asset to AAD,” John Miguelez, president and senior clinical director, said. “We are excited about applying her strategies and enthusiasm to increase awareness of our exceptional upper extremity patient care.”
